Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
The Role
This is a hugely important role that involves supporting the General Manager with all aspects of the running of the Cayton View. The focus of the role is to lead the team and create a caring environment that provides residents with the highest standards of personalised care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have experience of managing a team in residential care.
- Ideally have NVQ/QCF Level 5 or be happy to undertake it.
- Support individual team members to develop their skills and careers.
- Be responsible for monitoring care plans, providing guidance and support to the team to develop truly person-centred care plans.
- Effectively handle enquiries, show rounds and assessments.
- Be responsible for co-ordinating health professional visits.
- Undertake staff supervisions, appraisals and, where needed, performance management.
- Conduct investigations, whether of complaints, team performance or resident issues.

£14 per hour
Weekly Hours
3 on 3 off shift pattern, 8am-8pm. 42 average weekly hours.
The Role
You will play a key role in providing a high standard of care to our residents in accordance with their individually assessed needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have Level 3 NVQ, or be willing to work towards it.
- Have experience of being a Senior Care Assistant, or Acting Senior Care Assistant looking for the next step.
- Be kind, warm and compassionate, with a can-do attitude.
- Supervise a team and keep calm under pressure.
- Have experience managing medication and be able to liaise with health professionals.
- Plan and prioritise workloads with an eye for detail.
- Handle enquiries, ‘show arounds’, visitors, and residents and relatives requests.
- Lead by example and energise colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
- Have excellent verbal/written communication skills.

3 on 3 off shift pattern, 8am-5pm. 31.5 average weekly hours.
The Role
You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have previous housekeeping experience, ideally gained as a housekeeper in a demanding environment.
- Ensure quality and hygiene standards within Cayton View are met and exceeded.
- Be able to complete cleaning schedules and report hazards to the appropriate person.
- Be able to follow infection control measures in accordance with the public health regulations.
- Be well-organised, focused and with a drive to succeed and focus on detail.
- Have high standards and continually look to raise them.
- Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Be a team player.
- Knowledge of COSHH is advantage but full training will be given.
- Preferably have experience dealing with Health & Safety matters.
